9×9 · 10 mines
A compact board for learning the rules and finishing a quick game.
Your first cell is safe. Clear every non-mine cell on a board designed to be solved without guessing.

NO GUESSOpen your first cell. Your first cell and its neighbors are safe.
Select a covered cell to open it. The first cell and its surrounding 3×3 area never contain a mine.
A number tells you how many mines are hidden in the eight cells around it.
Right-click on desktop or switch to Flag mode on mobile to mark a suspected mine.
You win after opening every non-mine cell. Opening a mine ends the board.
9×9 · 10 mines
A compact board for learning the rules and finishing a quick game.
16×16 · 40 mines
A larger field where number patterns and chord openings matter.
30×16 · 99 mines
The classic Expert size. On mobile, scroll horizontally across the full-size board.
After you choose the first cell, PlayMinute checks each generated layout with an internal logic solver. Only boards that can be finished using number deductions are accepted, so you should not reach a forced 50/50 choice. A fresh layout is generated for every game.
A 1 means one adjacent mine, while a 3 means three adjacent mines. When the number of flags around an open number matches that number, select it again to open the remaining adjacent cells at once. A misplaced flag can make this chord hit a mine, so check the pattern first. Flags are only markers: you win as soon as every safe cell is open.
A blank cell has no adjacent mines. Start reading the numbered edge revealed around each blank area.
If a number has exactly that many covered neighbors left, every one of them is a mine.
When a number already touches the matching number of flags, every other covered neighbor is safe.
If one clue is stuck, inspect a different edge. One new opening often creates a chain of deductions.

No. The first selected cell and all adjacent cells are kept free of mines, often opening a useful starting area.
It is a board that can be solved from visible numbers and confirmed cells without choosing randomly. PlayMinute only starts layouts that pass an internal logic check.
Select Flag above the board, then tap a covered cell. You can also press and hold a cell to add or remove a flag.
Selecting an open number performs a chord when its adjacent flag count matches the number. Be careful: a wrong flag can expose a mine.
Beginner is 9×9 with 10 mines, Intermediate is 16×16 with 40, and Expert is 30×16 with 99. Records are stored separately for each difficulty.
